Whether it's a new custom home, a remodel, or an addition, every homeowner is quietly worried about the same things — budgets blowing up, timelines dragging, and a builder who never really understood what you wanted. My dad was an architect with his own design/build company, and I grew up in that world of translating clients' ideas into drawings and then into reality. You deserve a clear, honest process that turns the home in your head into the one you love to live in, on time and on budget. Exciting instead of stressful. The way it should feel.
A custom home or remodel isn't a product — it's a relationship. Here's how ours unfolds.
Every home we build is shaped by its land and its family — but you'll see a few common threads: native stone, heavy timber, room for the light to come in.
"Stress, anxiety, feeling like you're being taken advantage of. It shouldn't be this hard to build the home your family deserves."
Bagwell Custom Homes started in 1997 as a one-man framing crew outside of Austin. Almost three decades later, we're still a small, owner-run shop — one job at a time, every time.
We run every job ourselves, from first walk to final punch. The subs change — we don't. Our framers, masons, and finish carpenters have been with us for years. We answer our own phones, and we're on site when it matters.
